KCU Business Development Manager Believes in the Power of Mentorship

MicrosoftTeams-image-7-scaled-e1680203658606-253x300.jpgWomen’s History Month is coming to an end, and it is our pleasure to introduce you to one of our Sales team members, Brittany Corona! Brittany has been a part of our team for just over a year as a Business Development Manager. While Brittany’s work here at KCU has been excellent, she also inspires us with her achievements outside of our workplace. Not only is Brittany a barre instructor in her free time, but she also is part of Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors (TPCAR) Ambassador Club and has been nominated for their 2022 Affiliate of the Year.

In her role as an Ambassador, Brittany mentors and acts as a resource for new real estate agents in their first 90 days. “As an Ambassador, I have mentored over 50 new real estate agents through TPCAR and have supported over 100 real estate agents with their onboarding at New Member Orientation in the past year,” she said.

Brittany believes that being a mentor is an important part of supporting local real estate agents and industry peers, “This opportunity also allows me to educate agents on how Kitsap Credit Union can be a resource to real estate agents and their clients as a financial partner,” she said. We asked Brittany what advice she would give to a mentee, and she said, “Understand your customer’s needs, desires, and aspirations and then lead with the solutions you provide to help them, not the products or services you sell.”

Not only has Brittany been nominated for 2022 Affiliate of the Year, but she also was awarded TPCAR’s Ambassador Appreciation award last year for her stellar work in connecting realtors with financial and business resources. Congratulations, Brittany and thank you for being such a wonderful and supportive mentor to members of our community! Join us in cheering Brittany on as she attends the 2023 TPCAR Annual Award Luncheon to learn if she has won Affiliate of the Year!
