Support Local: Harbor Haute Dogs

Here at Kitsap Credit Union, we believe in supporting local businesses year-round but with the holidays in full swing, shopping and eating local is more important than ever. This Saturday, November 30 is Small Business Saturday and we're gearing up for it by featuring local businesses all week long.

You might remember our friends at Harbor Haute Dogs from National Eat Local Day in September. This month, they have some exciting news to share. Thanks to the support of our community, they were voted "Best New Restaurant in Western Washington" during King 5 Evening's Best of Western Washington! If you've ever found yourself in need of a unique hot dog while in Port Orchard, you may have made your way over to Harbor Haute Dogs. With a variety of flavors combos and a reputation for quality customer service, Harbor Haute Dogs stands out as a well-loved local business.

During a special segment with King 5 evening, we teamed up with Harbor Haute Dogs to celebrate this local business and talk more about the importance of supporting local businesses like theirs. "Businesses are the backbone of our community and they are vital to economic growth and job creation." said Megan Murphy, Director of Business Services at Kitsap Credit Union. Later in the segment, Harbor Haute Dog Owners Guy Storz and Alex Marshall even created a special dog with ingredients inspired by the colors of the KCU logo to help celebrate our 90th Anniversary this month! Check out the full segment at here.

Remember to support local businesses this holiday season!
