Eligibility. Open to legal residents of Washington State who are 18 years or older. Kitsap Credit Union employees, volunteers, board or committee members, vendors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. Immediate family includes: spouse, parents, stepparents, foster parents, in-laws, children, stepchildren, foster children, sons/daughters-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and first cousins.

How to Enter
- Post a photo, video, or short story that shows why you love being a credit union member. Use the hashtag #ILoveMyCreditUnion AND tag @kitsapcu in your post. Follow us to make sure we see your entry! This will earn the participant one entry into the drawing. To earn a second entry, the participant can enter on either Instagram or Facebook.
- Entry Deadline: Begins Friday, July 25, 2025, 7:00 am and ends Friday, August 1, 2025, 11:59 pm Pacific Time (PT). All entries must be submitted by this time to be considered eligible. Kitsap Credit Union reserves the right to modify these dates and times.
- Entry Limit: Maximum of 2 entries per person.
- Alternative Method of Entry: To enter the I Love My Credit Union Day Social Media Giveaway without participating via social media, individuals may enter by mail. To do so, handwrite your full name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and phone number on a plain 3” x 5” white index card and place it in a standard envelope. Mail the envelope via the U.S. Postal Service to: Kitsap Credit Union, Attn: Marketing Department, 155 Washington Ave, Bremerton, WA 98337. Each entry must be handwritten, mailed separately in its own envelope, and must be postmarked on or after Friday, July 25, 2025, and received by Kitsap Credit Union no later than Friday, August 1, 2025. Limit one mail-in entry per person, per day, based on postmark date. Entries that are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, or generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void and will not be accepted.
- Odds of Winning. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Only one entry per participant will be counted for Facebook and one entry will be counted for Instagram. Participants can earn up to two entries by participating on both Facebook and Instagram. Kitsap Credit Union, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process. Kitsap Credit Union further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including because of infection by tampering or unauthorized intervention.
- Prize: One (1) winner will receive a Visa gift card valued at approximately $250, KCU Swag gift bag valued at $50, and a donation to a local non-profit valued at $250.
- Drawing Date: Winner will be selected by random drawing on Monday, August 4, 2025.
- Notification: Winner will be notified via social media. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
- Claiming the Prize: Prize must be picked up at Kitsap Credit Union’s Corporate Office in downtown Bremerton by August 25, 2025. The winner will need to bring a photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport to verify their name and date of birth.
- No Substitution: Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. All federal, state, and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
